FEATHERS WILL FLY!

FEATHERS WILL FLY!

Everyone loves a good live comedy.  And gauging by the laughter coming from the cast during rehearsals at the Civic Centre,  Coolum Theatre Players next production at the end of March should definitely entertain.  “Flying Feathers” is a risqué farce set in England at the country house of Bernard who has gone to live in a religious community in Scotland.  In his absence a new housekeeper has used her initiative in a creative way resulting in hilarious confusion when Bernard’s brother and sister arrive unexpectedly!  Are the “girls” really housemaids?  Is the vicar really a vicar?  Is Mr Tunnicliffe a solicitor or a vet?  Is Bernard who he is supposed to be?  Well, all will be revealed all in good time during this lively scripted play by Derek Benfield and directed by the Coast’s award winning Nancy Kinmond.  Pace is everything in this farce.  The repartee, innuendo, and the double entendre will cause immense confusion much to the delight of the audiences.
