No Excuses… Get Fitter and Healthier this Winter

I'm sending out a challenge to those in the local community or anywhere for that matter to aim to lead a fitter and healthier existence this winter and there is no better way than with an event based goal. In 11 days time at 9am on the 1st of June the Noosa Triathlon entries go online and going off previous years they will sell out in days if not hours!

The Noosa Triathlon Multi Sport Festival is a five-day Festival of world- class sport and entertainment, celebrating the Australian sporting lifestyle. The Festival attracts the world’s best athletes across a variety of sports to compete alongside competitors of all ages and abilities. The Noosa Triathlon, being the highlight of the Festival, is recognised as one of Queensland’s iconic events, Australia’s largest, oldest and highest profile triathlon, and the second largest triathlon event in the world. After 27 years the Festival continues to grow in competitor numbers, community support, national and international recognition, and event stature. 2010 will be no different!

I know right now you're conjuring up many reasons why you can't or there is 'NO WAY' you could do such an undertaking but they are all really just excuses that hold no weight what so ever. You can do anything if you put your mind to it. Actually, if you have a healthy disregard for the impossible you'll be amazed at what you can achieve. It doesn't matter if you're starting from zero. Just take one step and then another as motivation comes from momentum. Go on and be online at 9am on the 1st of June and set yourself a challenge goal. I guarantee by the time it's all said and done you'll have had a ball, met some new friends along the way and be fitter than ever. 

We are blessed with some fantastic training facilities, locations and even groups to keep you motivated along the way. I'll be doing up a series on training routes for running and riding in upcoming blog posts for you to use and I'll also post up some training tips and sessions for Noosa tri at beingkristianmaniett.com

Time to get moving ... because, they're no excuses!
