THE BUZZ WORD IS BIZFEST!

Another first for Coolum!  BizFest on Friday 8thand Saturday 9thApril is shaping up to be a great business and family festival.  It’s all happening at the International College Campus of the Coolum Christian International College and entry is FREE.  Organisers Angie Nichol and Vivienne Simitzis assure the program will be lively and inventive.  Many locals have booked into the Business Expo and Wyndham Vacation Resort Marcoola has kindly donated a 2-night stay in a 3 bedroom apartment for the business Buzz Raffle prize.

The Queensland Kite Society will be displaying kites and kids are encouraged to take part in the kite making workshops and kiteflying.  Luke's Supa IGA Coolum has kindly donated towards the expenses of the kiteflying and multicultural kites.  Children will also have fun in the amusement alley and enjoy the roving entertainment.

FREE hourly buses will be running from Tickle Park and Baans Lane in Coolum to the campus.  A lucky visitor will WIN the Atlantis Marcoola Resort $1,100 accommodation package with the FREE entry raffle.

25 bands are already booked to compete in the Battle of the Bands and sessions are filling fast for the Talent Quest, both offering great prizes.

From 2-3 pm on the Saturday, the Multicultural Master Chefs' Challenge will give opportunity for chefs to win some great prizes for their businesses.

Now this is just a taste of Bizfest, so be sure to “sea for yourself” the showcase of local products, talents and services.
